Today we waited for Drew's blood results before we could go home - all good - porta cath removed and we were on our way. Drew hasn't had any reactions so far to the chemotherapy - but it is early days.
Tristan from school came to visit and a signed Jets jersey from Mrs Ramsay and Tracey from Amart arrived. Despite being a Mariners supporter, Drew was rapt, he was born in Newcastle so they are his second team.
Drew is still taking Prednisone and his appetite is huge. We got through all four mouthwashes - used to keep his mouth clean and hopefully prevent ulcers in his mouth and oesophagus.
