Drew was very excited about being the mascot tonight and the rest of us were pretty excited too. He had a big sleep so he'd be wide awake for the whole game. We arrived at 6.00pm and went up to the corporate box that had been arranged for us - which happened to be right above the Marinators - so we had atmosphere too. Andrew (who works for the Jets and had organised the evening) came and got Drew about 7.30pm and off he went. Drew got to spend time in the sheds with the boys before the game and walked out holding Alex's hand in his Mariners jersey (they had arranged another mascot for the Jets). Andrew brought Drew back around and he was so excited, he chatted about it throughout the whole game. It looked touch and go for a while, but we got the mighty Mariners got up in the end. What a fantastic day!!!! Thank you to everyone involved who helped organise it.
