Today we couldn't have breakfast again as we were having our porta cath put into our chest, which meant we were being put into a big sleep and couldn't eat till after the procedure. The porta cath is where Drew's chemotherapy will go into his body and where they will take blood from. Dr Roy will be doing it and Dr Judy put Drew to sleep - he talked right to the end. Dr Frank and Dr Helen popped in and all is well. Dr Frank brought in the 'road map', Drew's treatment plan for the next four weeks - we will go through all the medications and procedures tomorrow. Drew was a bit sore after the operation - there was a story going round that a big wave had brought a shark in and Drew had fought it off. Drew's blood count below 1 today :O).
