Today we said Goodbye to 2008 - despite Drew's devastating news in November, the rest of the year was pretty good. Before his injection today I gave Drew some anti-nausea medication which seemed to do the trick. Drew said goodbye to 2008 on a high, with the Magical Mariners weaving their magic and the main man arranging an area that Drew and the rest of us could sit away from the crowd, enabling Drew to go and not be exposed to too many people, he also got a trip onto the field and into the dressing room. And yes the Mariners finished the year on a high with another win. We wish everyone a safe, happy and healthy 2009.
