Drew was allowed to go back to school today. He went about an hour after all the other students and spent an hour with his old classmates and teacher from last year. After Drew was diagnosed last year Drew's teacher and the class decided to do 1000 kick's of a soccer ball for Drew in the tradition of 1000 cranes. Each class is listed on the ball with the number of kicks from that class and there is well over 1000. It was decided on a soccer ball, as Drew is mad about soccer and the school had already done 1000 cranes for another little boy at their school who also has cancer. Today they presented it to Drew - it was a lovely gesture and we are sure will bring Drew good health. After recess Drew and everyone else was put into their new classes. Drew has a new teacher to the school and some old friends, including Tristan, in his class and he was very happy.

Drew, great to hear you're back at school and that things are going ok for you. We started a new school this year. It's heaps better than our other one. The soccer field is way bigger and we have 430 kids to hang out with instead of 130. Mad.
