An early start up to John Hunter this morning. Drew is having his third bone marrow aspirant (which means they take some out to test it). He is very good and very chirpy before he goes into theatre and was happy today when he woke up, especially once he got his ham, tomato and grated cheese sandwich. Nurse Di went and spoke to Drew's class today, which the children enjoyed. Drew's results from his bone marrow test will take two weeks to come back and will tell us what risk factor he his - so fingers crossed for a standard risk, in the meantime he will start the next phase of his treatment on Tuesday, as a standard risk.
