We arrived back at the Day Unit before 9.00am today. Drew was accessed and his blood taken away. His neutriphils had climbed to .2 but were just short of the required .3 to have his chemotherapy. As his platelets were high and climbing and his haemoglobin was good, Dr Frank decided as this treatment was 2 weeks overdue, we should press ahead. Drew spent the day doing 'homework' which consisted of a creative art work about himself. Of course he did himself as a Mariners player in soccer goals - and did a really good job.
