Back up to John Hunter today for a routine kidney function test before Drew starts the next stage of his treatment. Drew had a small amount of radioactive material injected into his arm via a cannula, which he wasn't too keen on, but Dr Katrina did a wonderful job inserting the cannula. He then had blood taken an hour later and then more blood another 1 1/2 hours after that, from this his kidney function is able to be measured. Hopefully we won't be back to John Hunter until next Tuesday - all being well! Happy Birthday Vannessa!
