Off to hospital dark and early today. Drew was having a bone marrow aspirant, to test how his last chemo has worked, an appointment with Jodie, the psychologist to work through his anxieties about needles and his treatment and a GFR, which tests his kidney function (and involves a needle). He went up to theatre reasonably early and they put the cannula in for his GFR while he was asleep, he was back just in time for the GFR and Jodie came down later in the afternoon - a busy day, but it was better getting it all over and done with. Dr Frank came and saw Drew late in the afternoon and let us know that Drew's transplant Doctor in Sydney wanted to see us the next day.
